This funding is about investing in people, clubs, teams, whanau and community groups: strengthening the game of rugby at its very foundations. Clubs and community groups can apply fir funding to supplement other forms of funding, to out towards things such as travel, equipment
The Foundation has been set up to help fill any future gaps in funding as current forms of funding change and adjust their strategies. It means we will be able to respond to bespoke requests and specifically targeted initiatives all being 100% Canterbury focused, and it can be complimentary to other funding initiatives.
The Canterbury Community Rugby Foundation is for providing additional funds to community organisations, for community-level rugby.
